About the Organization

United Nations Volunteers (UNV) contributes to peace and development through volunteerism worldwide. UNV works with partners to integrate qualified, highly motivated, and well-supported UN Volunteers into development programming and promote the value and global recognition of volunteerism. UNV is active in around 170 countries every year. With field presences in over 60 countries, UNV is represented worldwide. UNV is administered by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

About the Role

United Nations Volunteers (UNV) is seeking a Multimedia Analyst to join their team. This position is home-based and offered under a National Personnel Service Agreement (NPSA-9) for a duration of one year. The role is crucial for enhancing the visibility of UN Volunteers’ work through high-quality multimedia content.


Responsibilities

  • Video Production: Plan, produce, and edit videos showcasing UN Volunteers’ initiatives.
  • Graphic Design: Create graphics, infographics, and social media content aligned with UNV branding.
  • Photo Management: Organize and curate the UNV photo library, ensuring proper tagging and metadata.
  • Content Strategy: Develop and implement multimedia content strategies to engage diverse audiences.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with various teams to ensure cohesive and impactful multimedia outputs.


Qualifications

  • Education:
    • Master’s degree with 2 years of experience, or
    • Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of experience.


Required Skills

  • Proficiency in video production, graphic design, and tools like Adobe CC and Canva.
  • Languages: Fluency in English.


Preferred Skills

  • Proficiency in another UN language is an asset.

    • استراتيجية المحتوى : تطوير وتنفيذ استراتيجيات محتوى الوسائط المتعددة لإشراك الجماهير المتنوعة.
    • التعاون : العمل بشكل وثيق مع مختلف الفرق لضمان مخرجات الوسائط المتعددة المتماسكة والفعالة.


    المؤهلات

    • تعليم :
      • درجة الماجستير مع خبرة لمدة سنتين، أو
      • بكالوريوس مع خبرة 4 سنوات .


    المهارات المطلوبة

    • الكفاءة في إنتاج الفيديو والتصميم الجرافيكي وأدوات مثل Adobe CC و Canva.
    • اللغات : إتقان اللغة الإنجليزية.
