About The Role
In the technical functional task area, SEA 21 requires contractor support in the areas of hull, mechanical, and electrical (HM&E), combat systems, aviation, and data, cyber, and information systems. SEA 21 needs support in these areas to plan modernization, analyze system performance across ships, and plan sustainment of systems.
Specifically, SEA 21 needs HM&E, combat systems, and aviation support for the program offices to plan and manage modernization efforts, as well as sustainment planning. At the waterfront, SEA 21 requires support to execute program modernization, working closely with the fleet and shore establishments to assess the maintenance and sustainment of equipment at the individual ship level.
Additionally, SEA 21 needs data, cyber, and information systems support to design and assess the performance of systems and equipment during design, development, test events, trials, and normal operations. Technical efforts will include:
- Analyzing reliability, maintainability, and availability data
- Developing and performing test and evaluation plans
- Developing and implementing science and technology (S&T) and Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) efforts

About The Role
