Job Overview
Join a team of experts in training data for AI models with one of the leading AI companies. No previous AI experience is necessary. As a software engineer, you'll help train large AI language models, enhancing generative AI to improve coding. You’ll be solving coding challenges and creating training data that will directly affect AI models. There are over 200+ open positions!
Responsibilities
- Evaluate the quality of AI-generated code and provide human-readable explanations of rationale.
- Solve coding problems and write functional, efficient code.
- Write robust test cases to ensure code efficiency and effectiveness.
- Create instructions and review code for the model, working on a variety of problems, from code comparisons to developing mobile applications.
Pay Rates
- Global rate: $50/hr
- Expect 15+ hours per week; no upper limit
- Weekly payment for hours worked on the platform
Contract Length
- Long-term, expected work availability for the next 2 years
- Flexible contract termination anytime
Flexible Schedules
- Work as many hours as desired
- Flexible schedules, including breaks and flexible working hours
- Compensation is based on time spent on the platform
Interview Process
- Apply through Ashby form
- Complete an async RLHF code review (35 minutes, 72-hour deadline)
- Simulated production-level task will be your final interview
Tech Stack Priorities
- Python expertise preferred
- Data Science background or software engineering experience desired
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of software engineering experience
- Fluency in English
- Proficiency in Python
- Ability to articulate complex scientific concepts clearly
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science
- Experience with languages like Java, JavaScript, C++, Swift, etc.
- Recognized contributions to the coding community
- Experience in technical writing
