Service Engineer
About the Job
We are looking for a skilled Service Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintaining power generators and light towers. You will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our products in various regions.
Job Description
- Perform onsite testing and commissioning for all types of power generators and light towers.
- Conduct troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and repairs for all types of power generators and light towers.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot control panels and automatic transfer switches.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Program and configure generator controllers.
- Install or remove engine parts such as pumps, starter motors, actuators, alternators, etc.
- Conduct generator paralleling and synchronization.
- Select genset spare parts using parts manuals and software.
- Prepare detailed service and technical reports.
- Manage warranty claims with suppliers.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by management.
Qualification
- Education: BE or DAE in Electrical Engineering.
Location
- Based in Bahrain, with willingness to travel across the Middle East, Asia, and Africa.
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to talk, hear, and use hands to manipulate objects or controls.
- Frequent standing and walking, with occasional stooping, bending, or reaching above shoulders.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Occasional travel required.

- إجراء اختبارات وتشغيل ميداني لجميع أنواع المولدات وأبراج الإضاءة.
- تشخيص الأعطال وإصلاحها لجميع أنواع المولدات وأبراج الإضاءة.
- فحص لوحات التحكم ومفاتيح النقل التلقائي وتشخيصها.
- قراءة وتفسير الرسومات الكهربائية ومخططات الأسلاك.
- برمجة وإعداد أجهزة التحكم بالمولدات.
- تركيب أو إزالة أجزاء المحركات مثل المضخات، والمولدات، والمحركات الابتدائية، وغيرها.
- تنفيذ عمليات تزامن وتشغيل المولدات بشكل متوازي.
- اختيار قطع غيار المولدات باستخدام الأدلة البرمجية.
- إعداد تقارير خدمة وتقارير فنية مفصلة.
- إدارة مطالبات الضمان مع الموردين.
- تنفيذ أي مهام أخرى تُكلف بها من قبل الإدارة.
المؤهلات
- التعليم: درجة بكالوريوس أو دبلوم في الهندسة الكهربائية.
الموقع
- مقر العمل في البحرين، مع الاستعداد للسفر في جميع أنحاء الشرق الأوسط، آسيا، وأفريقيا.
متطلبات العمل البدني
- القدرة على التحدث، السمع، واستخدام اليدين لمعالجة الأشياء أو الأدوات بشكل منتظم.
- الوقوف والمشي بشكل متكرر، مع الانحناء أو مد اليدين في بعض الأحيان.
- رفع أوزان تصل إلى 25 رطلاً عند الضرورة.
- العمل باستخدام الكمبيوتر لفترات طويلة مع التركيز الدقيق.
- السفر عند الحاجة.
