Job Requirements


Bachelor's degree in accounting.

5 years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong emphasis on manufacturing or construction.

Job Summary


As an Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our finance team in various accounting functions. This entry-level position offers a unique opportunity for professional growth, hands-on experience, and exposure to a diverse range of financial activities. Job Responsibilities


Generate and issue sales invoices to customers in a timely and accurate manner.

Record and track all sales transactions in the accounting system.

Reconcile sales invoices with customer orders and delivery notes.

Manage the petty cash fund, including disbursements and replenishments.

Ensure all petty cash transactions are properly recorded and supported by receipts.

Conduct regular petty cash reconciliations to maintain accurate records.

Process purchase invoices and match them with purchase orders and delivery notes.

Verify the accuracy of purchase invoices and ensure they are authorized for payment.

Maintain organized records of all purchase transactions.

Prepare and process payments to suppliers, ensuring timely and accurate disbursements.

Monitor accounts payable to ensure all payments are up to date.

Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.

Conduct online banking transactions, including fund transfers, payments, and bank reconciliations.

Monitor and record all online banking activities in the accounting system.

Ensure the security and confidentiality of all online banking transactions.

Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding invoices.

Implement and maintain credit control procedures to minimize bad debts.

Prepare and distribute regular aging reports to management.


Knowledge and Skills


Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.

Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (mention specific software if applicable).
