Quality Analyst
About the Job: This role involves supporting the Quality Assurance & Enhancement Office (QEO) in developing, implementing, and maintaining Quality Assurance & Enhancement policies and procedures at the British University of Bahrain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain effective relationships and feedback mechanisms with internal and external stakeholders.
- Adhere to existing policies and propose improvements under the guidance of the QEO Director.
- Collaborate with the QEO Director on enhancement projects and the regular evaluation of QEO operations.
- Provide support during quality review processes.
- Maintain good communication with external quality and regulatory bodies when needed.
- Represent the QEO in various committees as required.
- Liaise with other departments for surveys, monitoring processes, and quality reports.
- Support the management of the QEO's communication platforms, ensuring up-to-date and accurate information.
- Maintain a register of policies and procedures, ensuring they are current and accurate.
- Administer surveys and assist in analyzing feedback reports.
- Work closely with the Director on institutional research and thematic analysis of data.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a BSc degree, preferably in Management and Administration, Education Management, or a related field.
- TQM (Total Quality Management) or equivalent qualification is desirable.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience in a quality assurance/enhancement role.
- Experience in higher education settings.
- Academic experience in higher education is an advantage.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong numeracy skills and proficiency in statistical analysis tools.
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Ability to write reports and support QA submissions.
- Resourceful with excellent problem-solving skills.
