Recreation Program Supervisor for Military Location
About the Job
This role aims to enhance off-duty time for military personnel by providing a comprehensive leisure time program that includes social, cultural, recreational, athletic, and fitness activities. The position offers rotational support for CLDJ for a minimum of 6 months a year, and could be based in multiple EURAFCENT primary locations (negotiable based on need), including Rota, Sigonella, Naples, Bahrain, and Souda Bay. Additionally, the role may require temporary duty assignments (TDY) to other commands within the EURAFCENT Region.
Duties
-
Develops a comprehensive recreation program at the assigned location, including organizing, scheduling, publicizing, implementing, and evaluating both recurring and non-recurring activities.

Provides temporary recreation management field support to other installations within the EURAFCENT region, including Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, NSA Bahrain, NSA Souda Bay, NAVSTA Rota, NAS Sigonella, NSA Naples, and others.

Manages and operates MWR facilities, including fitness centers, swimming pools, liberty centers, and recreation centers.

Coordinates events such as picnics, parties, social gatherings, and sightseeing trips to foster community engagement.

Ensures compliance with safety regulations and effective management of resources, including budget oversight, supplies, and equipment.
Requirements

A minimum of one year of specialized experience at the NF-03/GS-07/08 grade level in planning, organizing, or evaluating recreational programs.

Ability to manage financial, physical, and human resources effectively.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. passport and security clearance.

Ability to pass a preplacement medical and dental examination.
Education

Proof of education must be uploaded at the time of application. If a degree is not conferred, a copy of the high school diploma or equivalent with college transcripts is required.

المهام

تطوير برنامج ترفيهي شامل في الموقع المعين يشمل تنظيم، جدولة، نشر، تنفيذ وتقييم الأنشطة.

توفير دعم إدارة الأنشطة في المواقع المختلفة داخل منطقة EURAFCENT حسب الحاجة.

الإشراف على العمليات اليومية لمرافق MWR المعينة مثل مراكز اللياقة البدنية، حمامات السباحة، مراكز الترفيه.

التنسيق مع الفرق المحلية والموظفين المتطوعين وضمان تطبيق المعايير الأمنية.

إدارة الميزانية المقررة للأنشطة والموارد الخاصة بها مثل المعدات واللوازم.

تنظيم الأحداث الاجتماعية والترفيهية مثل الحفلات والمناسبات والرحلات السياحية.
المتطلبات

خبرة لا تقل عن عام في تنظيم وتنسيق الأنشطة الترفيهية.

مهارات إدارية قوية في استخدام الموارد المالية والبشرية.

القدرة على العمل في بيئات متعددة مع أشخاص مختلفين وموارد محدودة.

القدرة على التعامل مع حالات الطوارئ وحل المشكلات بشكل فعال.

يجب أن يكون المتقدم قادراً على الحصول على تصريح أمني من الدرجة "سرّي".

يجب أن يكون المتقدم قادراً على الحصول على جواز سفر أمريكي.
التعليم

يتطلب أن يكون لدى المتقدم شهادة دراسية معترف بها أو خبرة مكافئة في إدارة الأنشطة الترفيهية.
المعلومات الإضافية

يتم تحديد مدة العقد بناءً على الموقع، ويمكن أن تتراوح من 12 إلى 36 شهرًا.
