Key Responsibilities:

• Builds trust and credibility by focusing on how to meet multiple stakeholder needs while providing constructive challenges on engagement issues.

• Reviews documentation of transaction flows and tests of relevant controls early in the audit cycle to assess the planned audit approach and the entity's control environment.

• Suggests mitigating tests when controls are found ineffective, applying professional scepticism to assess the broader impact (e.g., fraud risks, governance communication).

• Recognizes opportunities to add value, increase impact, and provide exceptional stakeholder value by leveraging firm-wide expertise.

• Participates actively in risk assessments and coordinates with component auditors to ensure the group auditor's expectations are met.

• Maintains regular file checks and ensures all points are cleared at the end of each audit engagement.

• Communicates with the extended team and management to ensure clear expectations and deadlines.
