Product Engineer

Main Responsibilities:

Field Failure Investigation: Investigate field failures of returned products by conducting system-level testing and debugging circuit boards.

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled technician to perform onsite testing and commissioning for all types of power generators and light towers. Daily tasks include troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and repairs, as well as dealing with control panels and automatic transfer switches. The ideal candidate will be proficient in selecting spare parts and utilizing manuals and software for generators, along with preparing service and technical reports.

Main Responsibilities

Perform onsite testing and commissioning for all types of power generators and light towers.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair all types of generators and light towers.
Troubleshoot control panels and automatic transfer switches.
Read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
Program and configure generator controllers.
Install or remove engine parts such as pumps, starter motors, actuators, and alternators.
Experience in generator paralleling and synchronization.
Strong knowledge in selecting genset spare parts, utilizing manuals and software.
Prepare detailed service and technical reports.
Manage warranty claims with suppliers.
Perform any other tasks as assigned by Management.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or DAE in Electrical Engineering.
Experience in the field of generators or power systems.

Location

Based in Bahrain with willingness to travel across the Middle East, Asia, and Africa.
