We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our team. This opportunity is hybrid, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.

About the Role: Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

These gateways are built for high performance, scalability, and reliability, providing businesses with complete control over their traffic flow.

On the other hand, Serverless Gateways offer a fully managed, elastic solution, which automatically adjusts to meet traffic demands without requiring users to manage any infrastructure. With this, Kong simplifies operations, cuts down on costs, and ensures smooth API deployment in serverless environments.

We are looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) who will help us develop and operate the Managed Gateways offerings, ensuring they run at the highest level of reliability—achieving high nines of uptime.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and scale our managed gateways (both Dedicated and Serverless) while ensuring they meet reliability and performance standards.
Monitor and optimize the operational aspects of the gateways, ensuring high availability and performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve systems and processes related to performance, reliability, and scalability.

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or a related field.
Strong expertise in cloud technologies and managing API gateways.
Experience with Kubernetes, AWS, or other cloud platforms.
