You'll identify training needs and roll out programs that not only improve skills and performance but also boost loyalty to the company. You'll collaborate with multiple departments to bring everyone up to speed in their specific areas.

What you’ll be working on:

Strive to uphold all hygiene and sanitation regulations, ensuring that all equipment in the kitchens and dishwashing areas are clean and in good working order

Help create cleaning schedules for the team and be the main point of contact

Ensure all stewarding team members arrive for their scheduled shift punctually and in clean uniforms

Managing the stewarding team and maintaining cleanliness, ensuring to report any deficiencies

Ensuring that the right cleaning tools and chemicals are used in the kitchen facility at all times

Lead and supervise the stewarding team in all aspects and ensure standards are followed

Conduct training and assist with diagrams, log sheets, & documentation
Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience as a stewarding supervisor or in a similar role

Maintains cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including machinery and kitchen tools

Ability to lead the stewarding team and ensure all standards and regulations are met

Familiar with chemical dilution systems like TDS (Training Data Sheets) & MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets)

Maintains the HACCP standards in and around the kitchen

Able to train new staff members and retrain when necessary
