Experienced NOC Engineer Needed for Bahrain Location
We are currently seeking a qualified Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer to join our team in Bahrain. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in ICT, Networks, or Computer Engineering and 1+ years of experience in a NOC Engineer role.

Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and other access UTM devices.

Ability to provide technical support and problem resolution for unfamiliar software and hardware.

Ability to generate and maintain clear technical documentation and support records.

Availability to work during non-business hours, including rotating evening and weekend shifts.

Good knowledge of switching and routing protocols.

Strong knowledge of VOICE protocols (SIP, H323, MGCP) and signaling (Proxy, Media Proxy, Routed Mode, Voice VPN Tunneling).

Ability to analyze network packets using tools like Ethereal/Wireshark.

Detailed understanding of network protocols (TCP, UDP, ICMP) and the ability to interpret route tables.

Able to troubleshoot complex network problems using troubleshooting tools (ping, trace route, etc.).

Understanding of higher-level applications like FTP, HTTP, and DNS.

Ability to troubleshoot communication and route sharing issues.

Strong analytical and communication skills.
Core Responsibilities:

Work on a 24x7 shift pattern within the Network Operations Center.

Continuously monitor Voice Communication Network (SS7, SIP, H323) and Data Network (TCP/IP, DNS).
-
Ensure that Faults and Activation requests are handled in compliance with Service Level Agreements.
-
Liaise with Field Engineers to resolve network and customer faults.
-
Monitor network traffic (IP Path, Latency) and make capacity planning recommendations.
-
Troubleshoot faults in Bit stream (ADSL), DIA, Leased Line, MPLS, GMPLS, and VAS (SMPP, Web Tool) customers.
-
Communicate with other Network Operation Centers and escalate when necessary.
-
Handle escalations and serve as the focal point for all Voice service-related queries.
-
Maintain proper documentation and case history using the Trouble Ticket System.
-
Produce daily monitoring reports on Voice utilization.

Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Application Development Specialist to join our team for an 8-month project. This role involves developing in-house applications, automating processes, integrating third-party solutions, and providing training and technical support. The Specialist will follow the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practices and ensure full compliance with development standards and security frameworks. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in application development, especially within the financial sector, with proficiency in Sybase Database and Ethix/Phoenix systems.Main Responsibilities

Develop in-house applications by analyzing user requirements, building prototypes if necessary, and testing the application to meet specified requirements.

Apply Software Development Life Cycle practices throughout the full implementation lifecycle of a project or change.

Deliver process automation solutions, integrating third-party services using reusable services and APIs.
-
Provide necessary training to users before launching any developed application internally.
-
Document procedures for utilizing or implementing the newly developed application program and ensure that users are familiar with these procedures.
-
Resolve internal application problems, provide technical support, recommend application improvements, and collaborate with users for customization of current applications.

Assist Project Managers in formulating project objectives and system development requirements; prepare project plans and schedules, and collaborate with the user department to ensure requirement gathering is complete.

Assist in the implementation of application systems, collaborate with outside consultants in system development and installation to meet user requirements, and support testing and acceptance of systems into the production environment.

Follow up on project progress, assist in preparing progress reports for management, and highlight any delays or issues regarding schedules.

Ensure full adherence to development standards and security frameworks adopted by the bank in building solutions.

Deliver quality software products and clear documentation for the developed solutions.
Qualifications
