This role involves applying expert knowledge of DoD cybersecurity policies, military system specifications, and advanced security practices to secure Navy systems. The selected candidate will be responsible for implementing RMF, managing IA-enabled appliances, conducting vulnerability assessments, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity protocols.

Responsibilities

• Apply DoD cybersecurity policies to secure Navy systems.

• Implement Risk Management Framework (RMF), including boundary defense and continuous monitoring.

• Configure and manage Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Routers, Switches, Cross Domain Solutions (CDS), and Endpoint Security Systems (ESS).

• Perform STIG implementation, system hardening, and compliance validation.

• Conduct vulnerability assessments using Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS).

• Implement security patches for Linux and Windows operating systems.

• Maintain and update RMF documentation in eMASS, including test plans, POA&Ms, and security controls assessments.

• Support cybersecurity requirements for the National Cyber Range Complex (NCRC) and TSCE Program, including Navy shipboard cybersecurity protocols.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of combined experience in:

  • Computer security, military systems, and DoD cybersecurity policy execution.

  • NCRC and TSCE Program requirements, including Navy shipboard cybersecurity protocols.
