Summary
Perform hands-on Mechanical activities such as Preventive and Corrective Maintenance, up to level 4 (major overhaul). In addition to troubleshooting on engines and reciprocating compressors and preparation of parts list required for PMs & CMs.
Principle Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform planned & unplanned maintenance activities.
- Prepare maintenance reports both preventive and corrective.
- Perform troubleshooting of equipment and recommend action for failure avoidance.
- Prepare list of parts and materials required for maintenance activities.

Qualifications
- Minimum a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering or a technical degree in maintenance or mechanical division.
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in Operation and Maintenance of reciprocating engines and compressors within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Hands-on field experience in performing industrial engines and compressors overhauls and commissioning, Caterpillar 3600 and Ariel.
- Strong knowledge of operation and maintenance of natural gas compression and processing facilities.
- Results-oriented, self-driven, and self-motivated with the capability of working under stress.
- Team player who is capable of mentoring and teaching other team members.
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.

Field Operator II
Scope
Perform all tasks assigned in a safe and responsible manner within the operating procedures.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor all process equipment and related maintenance activities as required.
- Monitor operational parameters in the field and routine logging of the same. Identify & resolve abnormalities.
- Shut down and start up the respective systems as required.
- Interact with the Control Room Operator regarding operational parameters of the area during regular operations, start-ups, and shut-downs.
- Take direction from the Control Room Operator as per the status of plant conditions and keep the plant under stable conditions for optimum production.
- Top up oil and cooling systems, monitor online chemical injection systems & collect samples as required.
- Perform/support daily, monthly, and quarterly checks and front-line maintenance as required.
- Prepare equipment for maintenance, including isolation, draining, decontaminating, and other procedures as required.
- Follow the regular daily, weekly, monthly, and annual checks based on the pre-planned schedules.
- Perform equipment operation and maintenance functions as required.
- Comply with all Enerflex HR, Quality, HSE, and all company policies, procedures, processes, work instructions, and guidelines.
Job Specifications
- Technical degree with relevant experience in Industrial Processes, Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum, or equivalent.

Technical Advisor
Summary
Work to optimize safe production, processes, design, operations, and controls of gas compression and processing facilities through engineering reviews, site inspections, and data trending. Collaborate and communicate with O&M teams and engineering groups throughout Enerflex, applying engineering principles
and using available skills, tools, and resources in an ethical and professional manner.
Principle Responsibilities and Duties
- Work with O&M teams to review and optimize production through process analyses, engineering reviews, and system debottlenecking.
- Review and update project drawings and other engineering and process documents.
- Collaborate with regional engineering and technical groups to support the O&M team with engineering and design requests.
- Review compression equipment sizing and performance specifications.
- Evaluate vendor’s technical documents, drawings, datasheets, specifications, and calculations.
- Develop best practices, innovative solutions, and processes to optimize safe production.
- Perform process simulations and risk assessments regularly and as required.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis on repetitive failures.
- Lead improvement initiatives, evaluate and implement them for quality enhancement of repaired components.
- Liaise with relevant departments to procure materials and supplies required for workshop operations.
- Handle workshop inventory as per company processes.
- Be involved in maintenance activities and provide technical advice when required.
- Train employees and develop training sessions/materials as requested by management.

Qualifications
- Technical degree in Chemical, Process, or Mechanical Engineering or a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.

- Strong knowledge of basic and detailed process engineering for gas compression and gas processing equipment.
- Field experience with internal combustion engines, including maintenance and overhaul work, is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with process simulation software (Hysys, Ariel Runs, Waukesha, and CAT GERP).
- Ability to effectively interact with other departments and disciplines, work under stress, supervise others, manage projects, and train personnel.
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills. Very good verbal and written command of English.
- Ability to achieve on-time results in individual and team settings without supervision.

E&I Technician
Summary
Perform daily safe pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup, and operational E&I maintenance activities to ensure plant commissioning and operational stability. Focus on improving equipment and plant conditions, achieving commissioning and production targets, maintaining HSE compliance, and enhancing production efficiency.
Principle Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform safe and productive pre-commissioning, commissioning, operation, and maintenance activities.
- Conduct pre-commissioning, commissioning, PMs, daily checks, and testing, including loop testing, megger testing, PLC analysis, control panel and systems troubleshooting, and panel programming.
- Maintain a clear understanding of Systems Completions and Punch List Management Systems.
- Provide feedback to the supervisor to improve project performance and assist with completing PM reports and other documentation.
- Track electrical equipment and instrumentation commissioning progress, performance, daily logs, and follow maintenance schedules and plans.
- Repair and troubleshoot alternators, transmitters, flow meters, breakers, switchgear, switches, valves, control panels, and motor systems.
- Respond to customer call-outs and emergency requirements while building customer relationships to support field service work.
- Support site leadership with spare parts management, including inventory levels, counts, Min-Max tracking, and parts movement.
- Assist with equipment and plant operations and troubleshooting.
- Comply with all Enerflex HR, Quality, HSE, and company policies, procedures, processes, work instructions, and guidelines.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Manager.
Qualifications
- Minimum Electrical Diploma or Engineering Certificate with HV certification.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in a similar work environment. Pre-commissioning and commissioning experience is a must.
- Experience in commissioning and O&M of Waukesha, Caterpillar, Frick, and Ariel compressors, with a willingness to learn new equipment.
- Hands-on experience with PCS, ESD, F&G systems, Burner Management Systems, and Turbotronic Systems.
- Intermediate knowledge of PC tools, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to read and understand P&ID and wiring schematics, including single-line diagrams.
- Capable of working under pressure and within a team to develop improved work processes for the department.
- Self-motivated, organized, strong problem-solving skills, positive, and respectful.
Physical Requirements
- Remote site working conditions, hot and humid climate, long working hours, and on-call requirements after hours.
- Ability to travel between countries on short notice.
