Job Description
Correlation One is looking for Teaching Assistants (TAs) to support our virtual Cybersecurity training program. This 25-week program is designed to equip learners with essential cybersecurity skills.
Responsibilities
- Participate in live lectures, responding to learners' questions via Slack.
- Provide individual office hour sessions weekly to support learners.
- Collaborate with instructors and fellow TAs to improve the learning experience.
- Host review and lab sessions to reinforce key concepts.
- Respond to learners' questions on Slack within 24 hours.
- Attend weekly TA meetings with Correlation One staff.
Qualifications
- At least one year of professional experience in Cybersecurity with a relevant degree or two years of experience without a degree.
- Previous experience in teaching or learner support, ideally in a remote setting.
- CompTIA Security+ certification is required; CySA+ is preferred.

Your Impact in This Role
As a Lead Instructor, you will play a key role in delivering our cybersecurity training programs. You will instruct learners in a virtual setting, guiding them through industry-relevant content and preparing them for successful careers in cybersecurity.
Key Responsibilities:
➤ Deliver live cybersecurity training to learners, in groups ranging from 20 to 2,000
➤ Teach using Correlation One’s cybersecurity curriculum in an interactive virtual classroom
➤ Prepare in advance for all assigned sessions and contribute feedback on course materials
➤ Share additional expertise and resources from the cybersecurity community
➤ Option to develop additional coursework for extra compensation
Qualifications:
At least 3 years of experience in cybersecurity with a relevant degree or certification
Previous teaching experience, preferably in a remote setting
Passion for education and helping others develop their skills
Experience working with Unix terminal and cybersecurity applications
Strong knowledge in Networking, Kali Linux, Endpoint Security, CompTIA Security+ Certification training, and Threat Analysis
Excellent communication and team management skills

End Date: September 9, 2025
Fully remote instruction via Zoom and Slack
