About the role
We’re seeking a Frontend Engineer with a strong focus on SEO and performance optimization. If you're passionate about building blazing-fast, user-centric web experiences and have a deep understanding of how technical SEO fuels organic growth, then this position is for you!
What You’ll Do
- Build, optimize, and maintain SEO-driven features across vidIQ’s platforms.
- Work with modern frontend frameworks, including React and Next.js or Remix, to ensure our site meets the highest performance standards.
- Improve site structure, metadata, and technical SEO performance to support organic traffic growth.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and designers to create fast, accessible, and intuitive user experiences.
- Use TypeScript to develop robust, maintainable, and scalable code.
- Optionally integrate SanityCMS for content management and optimize deployments using Vercel.
- Work with Chrome extensions as part of our product ecosystem
About You
Key Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a Frontend Engineer.
- Proficiency in React, Next.js, TypeScript, and frontend development best practices.
- Strong understanding of technical SEO and experience optimizing web applications for search engines.
- Knowledge of web performance metrics (e.g., Core Web Vitals) and how to improve them.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Sanity CMS and Vercel for modern frontend workflows.
- Familiarity with building or maintaining Chrome extensions.
