We at Seneca Polytechnic have ambitious goals and to help us achieve them we are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team in the GCC region.
You will be responsible for driving Seneca Polytechnic’s global expansion efforts in the Middle East, identifying new market opportunities and establishing strong partnerships across international markets. This role requires an in-depth understanding of international business dynamics and is accountable for navigating diverse cultural landscapes. This is a 1-year contract role.
Job responsibilities:
Global Market Strategy
Develop and execute comprehensive international market entry and expand the student recruitment outreach strategies and collaborate with senior leadership to ensure strategies are integrated with overall institution goals.
Assess potential new markets, evaluate revenue-driven business opportunities and develop strategies for targeting potential clients.
Manage and monitor budget spend associated with territory.
Market Research & Analysis and Opportunity Evaluation
Lead the business development activities in conducting in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, client needs, and growth opportunities in international markets.
Establish and enforces standards governing lead generation, prospect contact and follow-up, and opportunity qualification.
Provide leadership in analyzing cultural factors, local business practices and regulatory environments that impact successful market entry and growth.
Proposals, Relationship and Development
Oversee the development of compelling business proposals, presentations, and pitches for international clients, students or partners and ensure that the proposal resonates with the target markets and track business development activities and report on results to management.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with international clients, students, partners, and key stakeholders and serve as a primary point of contact to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Provide guidance, mentorship, and leadership to the international business development team and foster a collaborative and high-performance culture while promoting professional growth.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in Business Development or relevant area
- Experience in the Higher Education space
- Bilingual (Arabic and English)
- Market awareness and understanding of the challenges of customers and competitors
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Results Driven - is able to develop partners to expand the business in the region
- Strong organization & self-management skills to convert strategic objectives and plans into measurable results
- Ability to work with a high degree of independence and originate programs and ideas

المسؤوليات الوظيفية:
استراتيجية السوق العالمية
تطوير وتنفيذ استراتيجيات دخول السوق الدولية الشاملة وتوسيع استراتيجيات الوصول إلى تجنيد الطلاب والتعاون مع القيادة العليا لضمان دمج الاستراتيجيات مع أهداف المؤسسة العامة.
تقييم الأسواق الجديدة المحتملة، وتقييم الفرص التجارية المدفوعة بالإيرادات، وتطوير استراتيجيات لاستهداف العملاء المحتملين.
إدارة ومراقبة نفقات الميزانية المرتبطة بالمنطقة.
البحث والتحليل السوقي وتقييم الفرص
قيادة أنشطة تطوير الأعمال من خلال إجراء أبحاث سوقية معمقة لتحديد الاتجاهات الناشئة واحتياجات العملاء وفرص النمو في الأسواق الدولية.
وضع وتطبيق معايير تنظم توليد العملاء المحتملين، والتواصل مع العملاء المحتملين والمتابعة معهم، وتقييم الفرص.
توفير القيادة في تحليل العوامل الثقافية والممارسات التجارية المحلية والبيئات التنظيمية التي تؤثر على دخول السوق والنمو الناجح.
المقترحات والعلاقات والتطوير
الإشراف على تطوير مقترحات الأعمال الجذابة والعروض التقديمية والاقتراحات للعملاء الدوليين أو الطلاب أو الشركاء والتأكد من أن المقترح يتماشى مع الأسواق المستهدفة وتتبع أنشطة تطوير الأعمال والإبلاغ عن النتائج للإدارة.
تنمية وصيانة العلاقات مع العملاء الدوليين والطلاب والشركاء وأصحاب المصلحة الرئيسيين والعمل كنقطة الاتصال الرئيسية لضمان التواصل والتعاون الفعال.
تقديم الإرشاد والتوجيه والقيادة لفريق تطوير الأعمال الدولي وتعزيز ثقافة تعاونية وعالية الأداء مع تعزيز النمو المهني.
المؤهلات والخبرة:
- 5+ سنوات من الخبرة في تطوير الأعمال أو المجال ذي الصلة
- خبرة في مجال التعليم العالي
- التحدث باللغتين العربية والإنجليزية
- الوعي السوقي وفهم تحديات العملاء والمنافسين
- درجة البكالوريوس / درجة جامعية أو خبرة معادلة
- القدرة على تحقيق النتائج - قادر على تطوير الشركاء لتوسيع الأعمال في المنطقة
- مهارات تنظيمية وإدارة ذاتية قوية لتحويل الأهداف الاستراتيجية والخطط إلى نتائج قابلة للقياس
- القدرة على العمل بدرجة عالية من الاستقلالية وإيجاد برامج وأفكار جديدة
