Our School

• Nadeen School opened in 1978 in converted villas with a philosophy to educate the whole child to be creative and imaginative learners, connected to the community and to our environment. Just over a year ago, we moved into a brand new building with state-of-the-art facilities situated in Dilmunia. We weren’t able to bring the chickens with us but plans are afoot to develop eco-responsibility and to bring additional opportunities to connect with nature and the local environment in a sustainable way.

We currently have well over 800 learners in the school and we are growing. We currently have learners from age 2 in the nursery through to year 10 and will continue to expand in full in the secondary school.

We are a fully inclusive school with a passion for ensuring that every learner can succeed regardless of their starting points. Building on the principle we have opened a Thrive provision this year for a small number of learners with complex needs. 

Our learning community is made up of around a third of Bahraini learners with the rest being drawn from the wide-ranging expatriate community in Bahrain with learners coming from around 60 plus different countries and cultures. The curriculum is based on the National Curriculum for England (NCfE) and all teaching is in English.
