Compliance Consultant – Tap Payments
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures.

Conduct regular compliance monitoring and risk assessments.

Review and update compliance documentation, including policies, procedures, and manuals.

Respond to compliance-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop robust, scalable, and highly available backend systems and APIs.

Collaborate with product managers and frontend developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Participate in architectural discussions and make informed backend infrastructure decisions.

Mentor junior and mid-level developers, perform code reviews, and enforce coding standards.

Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, scalability challenges, and security vulnerabilities.

Collaborate with DevOps to optimize deployment processes and ensure production reliability.

Stay updated on industry trends and evaluate their impact on systems and products.

Translate financial domain requirements into technical solutions, leveraging knowledge of banking, settlements, payout mechanisms, acquirer/issuer relationships, and payment gateways.

Understand transaction lifecycles, chargebacks, reconciliations, and clearing processes.

Ensure adherence to financial compliance frameworks such as PCI-DSS.

Requirements:

5+ years of backend development experience using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.

Solid understanding of financial domain concepts: acquirers, issuers, transaction settlements, payouts, and payment cycles.

Proficiency in PostgreSQL and MongoDB, including data modeling and performance tuning.
-
Familiarity with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and caching tools (Redis) is a plus.
-
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Experience in regulated financial environments, banking, or fintech products.
