Drafting Specialist – Chilled Water System

About the Job

We are seeking a Drafting Specialist with expertise in HVAC and Chilled Water Drafting. This role also involves HVAC site coordination, ensuring seamless integration of systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed drafting layouts and schematics for HVAC and Chilled Water systems.
• Create technical drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, and other software.
• Prepare ductwork, piping, equipment layout, and coordination drawings.
• Review and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
• Coordinate HVAC drawings with architectural, structural, electrical, and plumbing services.
• Supervise HVAC installation works including ducting, piping, insulation, and equipment installation.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Coordinate daily activities with engineers, technicians, subcontractors, and trades.
• Monitor material delivery, installation quality, and workmanship.
• Identify and resolve technical site issues.
• Ensure compliance with HVAC quality standards, safety regulations, and HSE requirements.
• Assist in testing, commissioning, and handover of chilled water and DX systems.
• Conduct inspections and prepare inspection requests and checklists.
• Support preparation of method statements and technical submittals.
• Maintain site records, drawings, and progress reports.
• Prepare as-built drawings and handover documentation.
• Coordinate with consultants and clients during inspections and approvals.
• Update drawings based on site conditions and revisions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Technical Certification in Mechanical Engineering or HVAC.
• 3–5 years of experience in HVAC drafting and site supervision.
• Strong knowledge of chilled water systems, DX systems, ducting, piping, and HVAC equipment.
• Understanding of HVAC standards such as ASHRAE and SMACNA.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and construction drawings.

المهام الوظيفية:

إعداد رسومات تفصيلية ومخططات لأنظمة التكييف والمياه المبردة.

استخدام برامج AutoCAD وRevit لإعداد الرسومات الفنية.

تصميم شبكات مجاري الهواء والأنابيب وتوزيع المعدات.

مراجعة المخططات والمواصفات وجداول الكميات.

التنسيق بين أنظمة التكييف والأعمال المعمارية والإنشائية والكهربائية والصحية.

الإشراف على أعمال التركيبات بالموقع (الدكت، الأنابيب، العزل، المعدات).

الالتزام بمعايير الجودة والسلامة ومتطلبات المشروع.

المشاركة في الاختبارات والتشغيل والتسليم.

إجراء الفحوصات الميدانية وإعداد طلبات الفحص.

إعداد التقارير الفنية والمخططات التنفيذية.

تحديث الرسومات حسب ظروف الموقع والملاحظات الفنية.

إعداد رسومات As-Built ومستندات التسليم النهائي.

التنسيق مع الاستشاريين والعملاء خلال الاعتمادات.

المؤهلات:

دبلوم أو شهادة فنية في الهندسة الميكانيكية أو التكييف.

خبرة من 3 إلى 5 سنوات في رسومات التكييف والإشراف الموقعي.

معرفة قوية بأنظمة المياه المبردة وأنظمة DX وشبكات الدكت والأنابيب.

فهم جيد لمعايير التكييف مثل ASHRAE وSMACNA والأكواد المحلية.

القدرة على قراءة وتفسير المخططات الهندسية.
