Admission Officer

Responsibilities

• Physician Liaison & Procedure Booking
• Tentative Scheduling: Coordinate directly with Consultant and Specialist offices to manage tentative Operating Theater (OT) slots and specialized procedure dates.
• Clinical Requirements: Liaise with physicians to confirm specific procedure requirements (e.g., specific implants, equipment, or expected length of stay) to ensure the Cash Estimate provided to the patient is as accurate as possible.
• Status Updates: Provide real-time updates to Doctors regarding a patient's "Financial Clearance" status to convert tentative bookings into confirmed surgeries.
• Pre-Admission Coordination
• Pre-Op Instructions: Communicate essential pre-admission instructions (fasting times, arrival protocols) to the patient as directed by the Physician.
• Medical Clearances: Track and ensure the completion of all required pre-surgical clearances (e.g., Anesthesia review, Cardiology clearance) before finalizing the admission.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in a relevant field
• At least 4 years of experience in the same field within a reputable hospital in Bahrain

المسؤوليات:

1. التنسيق مع الأطباء وحجز الإجراءات الطبية

• جدولة مبدئية: التنسيق مباشرة مع مكاتب الاستشاريين والمتخصصين لإدارة مواعيد غرف العمليات والعمليات المتخصصة.
• المتطلبات السريرية: التواصل مع الأطباء لتأكيد متطلبات الإجراءات المحددة (مثل غرسات معينة، معدات خاصة، أو مدة الإقامة المتوقعة) لضمان تقديم تقدير مالي دقيق للمريض.
• تحديث الحالة: تقديم تحديثات فورية للأطباء بشأن حالة "التصريح المالي" للمريض لتحويل الحجز المبدئي إلى عملية مؤكدة.

2. التنسيق قبل القبول (Pre-Admission Coordination)

• تعليمات ما قبل العملية: نقل التعليمات الضرورية للمريض (مثل أوقات الصيام، بروتوكولات الوصول) وفق توجيهات الطبيب.
• التصاريح الطبية: متابعة وضمان إتمام جميع التصاريح الطبية المطلوبة قبل تأكيد القبول النهائي (مثل مراجعة التخدير، تصريح القلب).

المؤهلات والخبرة:

• درجة البكالوريوس أو دبلوم في مجال ذي صلة
• خبرة لا تقل عن 4 سنوات في نفس المجال داخل مستشفى مرموق في البحرين
