About the Job
Job Summary: Responsible for assisting in the safe and efficient operation of the plant to support production targets. Perform routine operational tasks under supervision, ensuring safety and procedural standards compliance. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to maintain reliable and trouble-free operations.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist in operating and monitoring process equipment ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Monitor and record equipment operational parameters in the field, reporting abnormalities to Supervisors or CRO.
- Support system start-ups and shutdowns as directed by supervisor.
- Support and perform Mechanical and Instrument jobs as directed by supervisor.
- Assist in pressurizing and depressurizing equipment and pipelines when required.
- Regularly check pressure, delta pressure, temperature, and level gauges, reporting irregularities to the CRO.

Mechanical Technician III
Qualifications
- Minimum technical degree in mechanical or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in operation and maintenance of reciprocating engines, compressors, pumps, and other mechanical equipment within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Hands-on knowledge of Caterpillar, Waukesha engines, Ariel, Superior, and Dresser Rand compressors. Familiarity with Solar Mars 100 gas turbines and centrifugal compressors is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of troubleshooting, problem-solving, and information analysis; excellent interpersonal skills.
- Capable of performing all maintenance activities up to Top-End Overhaul, including replacing main bearings, cylinder liners, pistons, and performing engine-compressor alignment independently.
- Strong understanding of Maintenance Management System methodology (Work Orders, Preventive/Corrective/Predictive Maintenance).
- Computer proficiency is mandatory, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; good command of English (written and spoken), Arabic is a plus.
