Interior Designer

Dar Al Mebtakeroon (DMC) is looking for a talented and motivated Interior Designer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should be creative, client-oriented, and experienced in design, FF&E selection, and project execution within the Bahrain market.

Role Overview:

The Interior Designer will manage interior design projects from concept development to execution. Responsibilities include meeting with clients, preparing design proposals, selecting FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment), coordinating with engineers and contractors, and ensuring projects are delivered according to design intent, budget, and schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meet with clients to understand requirements, preferences, and project goals
• Develop interior design concepts, mood boards, and space planning layouts
• Prepare 2D drawings, 3D visualizations, and design presentations
• Prepare material selections, specifications, and BOQs
• Handle FF&E selection, sourcing, and specification (furniture, lighting, décor, etc.)
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers
• Conduct site visits and supervise execution to ensure design compliance
• Assist in project costing, quotations, and sales proposals
• Manage client relationships and support the sales process for new projects
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in interior design, FF&E, and project execution
• Experience working within the Bahrain market is preferred
• Strong sales and client communication skills
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or similar
• Good knowledge of fit-out works, materials, and FF&E procurement
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Fluency in English and Arabic

• إعداد اختيار المواد، المواصفات، وكشوف الكميات (BOQs).
• إدارة اختيار FF&E، المصادر، والمواصفات (أثاث، إضاءة، ديكور، إلخ).
• التنسيق مع المهندسين المعماريين، المهندسين، المقاولين والموردين.
• زيارة المواقع والإشراف على التنفيذ لضمان الالتزام بالتصميم.
• المساعدة في تقدير تكلفة المشاريع، العروض، والمقترحات البيعية.
• إدارة علاقات العملاء ودعم عملية المبيعات للمشاريع الجديدة.
• ضمان إتمام المشاريع في الوقت المحدد وضمن الميزانية.

المتطلبات:

• درجة البكالوريوس في التصميم الداخلي، العمارة، أو مجال ذي صلة.
• خبرة لا تقل عن 3–5 سنوات في التصميم الداخلي، FF&E، وتنفيذ المشاريع.
• يفضل خبرة في سوق البحرين.
• مهارات مبيعات واتصال ممتازة مع العملاء.
• إجادة برامج التصميم مثل AutoCAD، SketchUp، 3ds Max أو ما يشابهها.
• معرفة جيدة بأعمال التشطيب، المواد، واختيار FF&E.
• القدرة على إدارة مشاريع متعددة والالتزام بالمواعيد النهائية.
• مهارات تنظيمية وحل المشكلات قوية.
• إجادة اللغة الإنجليزية والعربية.

المؤهل التعليمي: بكالوريوس (يفضل)

الخبرة العملية: خبرة في البناء سنتين على الأقل (يفضل)
