About the Role:
The Site Engineering Manager at our Bahrain Factory will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of sustainable packaging and supporting strategic engineering projects. This is a leadership position responsible for managing and executing non-routine engineering initiatives that are crucial to factory operations while ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage non-routine, strategic engineering projects to support factory operations and business objectives.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to apply engineering disciplines that satisfy production requirements.
- Develop and deliver efficient, effective, and flexible engineering solutions to support business needs.
- Ensure alignment of engineering projects with organizational goals and drive measurable business outcomes.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to engineering teams and cross-functional partners.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Promote a culture of innovation and sustainability within engineering practices.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline; advanced degrees preferred.
- Proven experience in site or plant engineering management, ideally within FMCG or manufacturing environments.
- Strong project management skills with experience executing complex, non-routine engineering projects.
- Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders, including internal teams and external contractors.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical capabilities.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to guide cross-functional teams.
- Experience with sustainable engineering practices and manufacturing excellence initiatives is a plus.
