IKEA Food and Beverages Leader

Location: Capital Governorate, Bahrain (On-site)

About the Role

Work together with colleagues in the store management team to lead and manage IKEA Food, fulfilling the purpose of the function by building business and people together. Strive to make people smile while providing irresistible food offers in a welcoming atmosphere that encourages guests to return again and again.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure guests are always in focus and strive to make them smile, serving with empathy and care.
• Participate in creating the IKEA store business plan, using the country business plan based on Growing IKEA Together and IKEA Food Direction & Strategy.
• Collaborate with the matrix to align national and global priorities with local needs.
• Develop and implement a clear IKEA Food action plan, followed up regularly.
• Maximize commerciality to grow sales, conversion rates, and average check.
• Operate IKEA Food according to legislation, quality, and food safety requirements.
• Create a strong IKEA culture, ensuring diversity is valued and the store is a great place to work.
• Ensure straightforward internal communication so key information is understood by all co-workers.
• Maintain a safe and healthy working environment according to local laws and IKEA standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in food service.
• Broad IKEA management experience or proven track record in high-volume or multi-unit retail/food service chain.
• Deep knowledge of management and leadership, including conscious leadership aligned with IKEA values.
• Expertise in forecasting and demand planning.
• Certifications: HACCP, ISO 22000 FSMS.
• Fluency in English and strong communication skills.

المسؤوليات الرئيسية

• المشاركة في إعداد خطة عمل المتجر باستخدام خطة العمل الوطنية بناءً على Growing IKEA Together واستراتيجية قسم الأغذية.
• التعاون مع الهيكل التنظيمي لمواءمة الأولويات الوطنية والعالمية مع الاحتياجات المحلية.
• تطوير وتنفيذ خطة عمل واضحة لقسم الأغذية ومتابعتها بانتظام.
• زيادة المبيعات ومعدلات التحويل ومتوسط الفاتورة.
• تشغيل قسم الأغذية وفقًا للقوانين ومتطلبات الجودة وسلامة الغذاء.
• خلق ثقافة إيكيا قوية، مع ضمان احترام التنوع وجعل المتجر مكانًا رائعًا للعمل.
• ضمان تدفق معلومات واضح وسهل داخل الشركة ليتم فهم المعلومات الرئيسية من قبل جميع الموظفين.

المؤهلات والخبرة

• درجة البكالوريوس في الضيافة أو إدارة الأعمال أو مجال ذي صلة.
• خبرة لا تقل عن 5 سنوات في خدمات الطعام.
• خبرة واسعة في إدارة إيكيا أو سجل مثبت في سلسلة تجزئة/خدمات طعام عالية الحجم أو متعددة الفروع.
• معرفة عميقة بالإدارة والقيادة، بما في ذلك القيادة الواعية المتوافقة مع قيم إيكيا.
• خبرة في التنبؤ والتخطيط للطلب.
• الشهادات: HACCP، ISO 22000 FSMS.

• إجادة اللغة الإنجليزية ومهارات تواصل قوية.
