Al Kindi Hospital is seeking a qualified Infection Control Nurse to join its healthcare team and support the development and implementation of effective infection prevention and control practices.Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and monitor the hospital’s Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) programConduct regular infection surveillance, audits, and risk assessments
Monitor healthcare-associated infections and prepare analytical reports with recommendations
Ensure compliance with hand hygiene, PPE usage, isolation precautions, and environmental cleaning standards
Provide infection control education and training to nursing, clinical, and support staff
Participate in outbreak investigation, management, and reporting
Review and update infection control policies and procedures in line with MOH Bahrain, NHRA, and international standards
Collaborate with nursing leadership, quality, and facilities teams to enhance infection control practices

يسعى مستشفى الكندي إلى توظيف ممرضة مؤهلة لمكافحة العدوى للانضمام إلى فريق الرعاية الصحية التابع له ودعم تطوير وتنفيذ ممارسات فعالة للوقاية من العدوى ومكافحتها.المسؤوليات الرئيسية
تطوير وتنفيذ ومراقبة برنامج مكافحة العدوى والوقاية منها في المستشفى.إجراء عمليات ترصد منتظمة للعدوى، وعمليات تدقيق، وتقييمات للمخاطر.
مراقبة العدوى المرتبطة بالرعاية الصحية وإعداد تقارير تحليلية مع توصيات.
ضمان الالتزام بنظافة اليدين، واستخدام معدات الوقاية الشخصية، واحتياطات العزل، ومعايير تنظيف البيئة.
توفير التثقيف والتدريب في مجال مكافحة العدوى لطاقم التمريض، والطاقم السريري، وطاقم الدعم.
المشاركة في التحقيق في تفشي العدوى وإدارتها والإبلاغ عنها.
مراجعة وتحديث سياسات وإجراءات مكافحة العدوى بما يتماشى مع معايير وزارة الصحة البحرينية، والهيئة الوطنية لتنظيم المهن الصحية، والمعايير الدولية.
التعاون مع قيادة التمريض، وفرق الجودة، والمرافق لتحسين ممارسات مكافحة العدوى.
