IFE Technician
The IFE (In-Flight Entertainment) Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting IFE systems across the airline fleet. This flying role requires resourcefulness, resilience, strong communication skills, and discretion in high-pressure situations. Key responsibilities include:
Maintain serviceability and readiness of IFE carry-on devices, ensuring updates, efficiency, and active subscriptions.
Support the Engineering Department with maintenance and troubleshooting of IFE/CMS systems.
Provide technical assistance for defect investigations and operational issues.
Manage and update software, firmware, and hardware configuration records for IFE/CMS equipment across the fleet.
Contribute to the development of operational procedures for equipment not covered in the Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM).
Coordinate and carry out regular content updates.
Support training initiatives, including OJT sessions and structured refresher courses.
Collaborate with Corporate Planning on system upgrades, technology refresh planning, and integration of new IFE/CMS technologies.
Provide backup support for flying IFE engineers during operational flights when required.
Assist in evaluating and implementing new technologies, system modifications, and enhancements.
Perform additional duties assigned by the direct supervisor.
Requirements:
Ideally hold a B2 License (applications from unlicensed engineers may also be considered).
Minimum 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience, including at least 3 years specializing in IFE/CMS systems.
Strong experience in maintaining and troubleshooting IFE/CMS systems.
Proficient in managing and documenting software, firmware, and hardware for IFE/CMS equipment.
Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance for aircraft entertainment systems.

فني أنظمة الترفيه الجوي (IFE Technician)
مسؤول عن صيانة واستكشاف وإدارة أنظمة الترفيه الجوي على متن أسطول الشركة. هذا الدور يتطلب الابتكار والمرونة ومهارات اتصال قوية والقدرة على التعامل بسرية في مواقف الضغط العالي. تشمل المهام الرئيسية:
الحفاظ على صيانة وجاهزية أجهزة الترفيه المحمولة، وضمان التحديثات والكفاءة والاشتراكات الفعالة.
دعم قسم الهندسة في صيانة واستكشاف أنظمة IFE/CMS.
تقديم المساعدة الفنية للتحقيق في الأعطال والمشاكل التشغيلية.
إدارة وتحديث سجلات البرامج والبرمجيات الثابتة (Firmware) والمعدات للأجهزة عبر الأسطول.
المساهمة في تطوير إجراءات التشغيل للمعدات غير المدرجة في دليل صيانة الطائرة (AMM).
تنسيق وتنفيذ تحديثات المحتوى الدورية.
دعم برامج التدريب، بما في ذلك جلسات التدريب العملي (OJT) والدورات التحديثية المنظمة.
التعاون مع قسم التخطيط المؤسسي في ترقية الأنظمة وتحديث التكنولوجيا ودمج تقنيات IFE/CMS الجديدة.
تقديم الدعم الاحتياطي لمهندسي IFE أثناء الرحلات التشغيلية عند الحاجة.
المساعدة في تقييم وتنفيذ التقنيات الجديدة وتعديلات النظام والتحسينات.
أداء المهام الإضافية التي يكلف بها المشرف المباشر.
المتطلبات:
يفضل الحصول على رخصة B2 (يمكن النظر في طلبات المهندسين غير الحاصلين على رخصة).
خبرة لا تقل عن 5 سنوات في صيانة الطائرات، منها 3 سنوات على الأقل متخصصة في أنظمة IFE/CMS.
خبرة قوية في صيانة واستكشاف أعطال أنظمة IFE/CMS.
إجادة إدارة وتوثيق البرامج والبرمجيات الثابتة والمعدات الخاصة بأنظمة IFE/CMS.
فهم قوي لمتطلبات اللوائح والامتثال لأنظمة الترفيه على متن الطائرات.
