Chief Accountant – Retail and F&B Division

Almoayed Ventures is seeking a highly skilled Chief Accountant with extensive experience in cost controlling for the Retail and Food & Beverage (F&B) division. The ideal candidate will lead the accounting function, ensuring accurate reporting, robust internal controls, and actionable financial insights to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all accounting operations for the Retail and F&B division, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, inventory accounting, and fixed assets management

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards

• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing processes

• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, providing actionable financial insights to management

• Monitor cash flow, cost controls, margins, and profitability across outlets and retail operations

• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory filings, and external audit requirements

• Establish and maintain effective internal controls, policies, and accounting procedures

• Supervise, mentor, and develop the accounting team

• Collaborate closely with operations, procurement, and management to support strategic and operational decisions

• Support system improvements and ERP/accounting software enhancements

Requirements:

• Proven experience in forecasting and cost controlling for the F&B industry

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, ACCA, CMA preferred)

• 7–10 years of accounting experience, with 3–5 years in a senior or managerial role

• Experience in Retail and/or F&B accounting, including inventory and cost of sales management

• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting

• Advanced proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel; ERP experience is a plus

• Excellent leadership, organizational, and analytical skills

• High attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines

• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

المسؤوليات الرئيسية:

• الإشراف على جميع عمليات المحاسبة لقسم التجزئة والأغذية والمشروبات، بما في ذلك دفتر الأستاذ العام، الحسابات الدائنة/المدينة، محاسبة المخزون وإدارة الأصول الثابتة

• إدارة الميزانيات والتنبؤات وتحليل الفروقات وتقديم رؤى مالية عملية للإدارة

• متابعة التدفقات النقدية، ضوابط التكاليف، الهوامش، والربحية عبر المنافذ وعمليات التجزئة

• ضمان الامتثال للضرائب والمتطلبات القانونية وعمليات التدقيق الخارجي

• وضع وصيانة ضوابط وإجراءات محاسبية وسياسات داخلية فعالة

• الإشراف على فريق المحاسبة، توجيههم، وتطويرهم

• التعاون مع فرق العمليات والمشتريات والإدارة لدعم القرارات الاستراتيجية والتشغيلية

• دعم تحسين الأنظمة وبرامج ERP والمحاسبة

المتطلبات:

• خبرة مثبتة في التنبؤ والرقابة على التكاليف لصناعة الأغذية والمشروبات

• شهادة بكالوريوس في المحاسبة أو المالية أو مجال ذي صلة (يفضل CPA أو ACCA أو CMA)

• خبرة من 7–10 سنوات في المحاسبة، مع 3–5 سنوات في دور قيادي أو إداري

• خبرة في محاسبة التجزئة و/أو الأغذية والمشروبات، بما في ذلك إدارة المخزون وتكلفة المبيعات

• معرفة قوية بالمعايير المحاسبية والضرائب والتقارير المالية

• إجادة متقدمة لبرامج المحاسبة وExcel؛ خبرة في ERP ميزة إضافية

• مهارات قيادية وتنظيمية وتحليلية ممتازة

• اهتمام كبير بالتفاصيل مع القدرة على الالتزام بالمواعيد النهائية
