V2X is seeking a Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer to provide support to the Naval Communications and Telecommunications Area Master Station (NCTAMS) for government and contractor personnel. The role involves managing VLF, HF, UHF, EHF, and SHF satellite ship/shore communications and the Navy Tactical Wide Area Network (NTWAN).

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical advisor to government and contractor personnel for NCTAMS operations.

• Conduct on-site troubleshooting, maintenance, and integration for multiple communication systems.

• Coordinate repair and support of installed baseband communications systems and ancillary equipment.

• Ensure shore-based facilities meet operational requirements for fleet units/ships.

• Provide support for fleet units/ships to maintain connectivity to naval networks (NIPRNET, SIPRNET, SCI).

• Provide on-site engineering support for new hardware/software integration and upgrades.

• Recommend alternative communications strategies and improvements.

• Conduct preliminary testing post-integration and configuration following site upgrades/modifications.

• Administer Information Assurance systems (IA) for ADNS, ADMS, HSGR, and NTWAN systems.

• Support rapid response and restoration procedures for emergent issues.

• Collaborate with multiple customer organizations as required.

• Minimal travel (<5%) may be required.
