Role Overview
We are seeking a Deputy Plant Manager to support the Technical Manager in overseeing the maintenance, mobilisation, and efficient operation of heavy plant and tunnelling equipment across multiple project sites. This role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Technical Manager in daily management of the plant and equipment fleet across various sites.Supervise workshop operations including repair, refurbishment, fabrication, and modification of mechanical and structural components.Ensure all heavy plant, tunnelling, and support equipment are maintained according to manufacturer and company standards.Plan, prioritise, and coordinate maintenance schedules to minimise downtime and ensure operational readiness.Oversee electrical and hydraulic system diagnostics, fault finding, and repairs.Support mobilisation and demobilisation of TBMs, slurry systems, jacking frames, and separation plants.Manage workshop technicians, electricians, and fitters; provide technical guidance and enforce safety procedures.Liaise with site teams to ensure plant availability meets project requirements.Assist in procurement of spare parts, consumables, and fabrication materials.Maintain accurate service records, inspection reports, and maintenance logs.Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company and statutory requirements.🔧 نائب مدير المصنع – البحرين | بدء العمل الفوري
