Personal Qualities

The ideal candidate for the Logistics Manager role has the following skills, personal qualities, and experiences:

• Minimum of 10–15 years of relevant functional experience, with the majority in an interior fit-out contracting company or group of companies

• Proven working experience as a Logistics Manager

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or Supply Chain

• Experience in freight negotiation with freight forwarders for imports and exports

• Expert knowledge in Export Documentation

• Well-versed in Import and Export Clearance, Custom Duty Refund claims process

• Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff

• Proficient in standard logistics software – ERP systems

Design & Technical Manager - FF&E and Joinery

Candidate Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 10–15 years in a manufacturing setup

• Suitable qualification from an interiors background, technical, or similar discipline

• Joinery Expertise: Track record in joinery setting out detailing, planning, influencing, site execution strategy, shop drawings, cutting lists, and material take-offs

• Materials Knowledge: Familiarity with common joinery and interior materials, surfaces, etc. (timber, boards, veneers, laminates, hardware, special surfaces, transitions, etc.)

• Technical Acumen: Strong problem-solving skills related to materials integration (glass, acrylics, stone, metals, fabrics)

• Software Proficiency: Well-versed in Autodesk products and Microsoft Office applications; progressive and a catalyst in adoption of digitization, 3D software capabilities

• Industry Standards: Familiarity with FSC, LEED requirements, and FR standards

• Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills for successful collaboration in a multinational environment

• Innovation Leader: Capable of being strategic, identifying strengths and weaknesses, and adopting strategies for continuous improvement

Setter Out

Duties and Responsibilities

• Review project details as per the project kick-off received from the Setting Out Manager

• Prepare the project drawings schedule

• Manage the shop drawings preparation and submittal process

• Check materials allowed, details, and incorporate all into detailed shop drawings; clarify discrepancies with line manager

• Review project specifications and obtain clearance for discrepancies between specs and estimated details

• Identify project material requirements and sample requirements

• Identify and raise RFIs to the line manager for communicating with the Project Manager and for timely clarifications

• Prepare quality shop drawings with high-level detailing, considering acceptable joinery practice, techniques, and wastage; coordinate with factory for efficient detailing

• Take into consideration site-related parameters for access, assembly, etc.

• Demonstrate good knowledge of materials, technical properties and parameters, density, mechanical properties, homogeneity, available sizes, thicknesses, seasonal lead times, and other constraints

Estimation Manager

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 10–15 years’ experience in the same field working for large-size joinery manufacturing companies

• Sound knowledge of estimation for high-quality joinery products with awareness of commercial and contractual issues to protect company interests

• Proven track record as a successful senior management leader in the joinery manufacturing industry

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work successfully in a multinational market environment

• Good organizational skills with the ability to balance objectives and targets while maintaining adherence to processes

• Good situational awareness of the industry and familiarity with interior materials and their relationships

• Fluent in web-based communication applications such as MS Office, MS Teams, and MS 365

• Fluent English communication; additional languages are an advantage

• Excellent time management track record

• Self-driven with natural leadership qualities

• خبرة في النجارة: القدرة على التخطيط، إعداد الرسومات التفصيلية، التنفيذ في الموقع، قوائم القطع، وقوائم المواد

• معرفة بالمواد: دراية بالمواد الشائعة في النجارة والديكور الداخلي مثل الخشب، الألواح، القشرة، الصفائح، الأجهزة، الأسطح الخاصة، التحولات

• مهارات تقنية: القدرة على حل المشكلات المتعلقة بتكامل المواد (زجاج، أكريليك، حجر، معادن، أقمشة)

• إجادة برامج Autodesk وبرامج Microsoft Office، القدرة على دعم التحول الرقمي

• التحقق من المواد المسموح بها والتفاصيل وإدراجها في الرسومات التفصيلية، وتوضيح أي تناقضات مع المدير المباشر

• مراجعة مواصفات المشروع والحصول على الموافقات اللازمة للفروقات بين المواصفات والتفاصيل المقدرة

• تحديد احتياجات المواد وعينات المشروع

• إعداد طلبات الاستفسار (RFI) والتواصل مع مدير المشروع للتوضيحات

• إعداد رسومات تنفيذية عالية الجودة مع مراعاة الممارسات التقنية وتنسيق العمل مع المصنع

• مراعاة ظروف الموقع للوصول والتجميع

• معرفة جيدة بالمواد وخصائصها التقنية والكثافة والخواص الميكانيكية والأحجام والتوافر الموسمي والقيود الأخرى
