Project Manager

Company Overview

Join a leading provider of high-voltage (HV) substation and electro-mechanical solutions in Bahrain. Our projects span design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of turnkey AC systems. We prioritize technical excellence, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction while maintaining the highest standards in safety, quality, and compliance.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a Turnkey AC Systems project from design through commissioning. You will oversee multidisciplinary teams, manage project budgets, timelines, and risks, and ensure project deliverables meet or exceed client expectations. Your role will include collaborating with internal and external stakeholders and ensuring adherence to governance and procedural standards.

Key Responsibilities

EHS & Safety Management:

• Integrate EHS plans into all project activities and decisions.

• Represent the company in legal aspects related to safety and environment.

Project Integration & Stakeholder Management:

• Identify all stakeholders and balance their needs to achieve win-win outcomes.

• Maintain strong communication and coordination across internal and external teams.

Risk & Financial Management:

• Implement and monitor project risk management plans.

• Track financial status, optimize resource allocation, and manage project costs.

Scope & Time Management:

• Oversee overall project scope and individual sub-projects.

• Ensure timely delivery of project milestones, including proactive claim management.

Tender & Technical Validation:

• Validate tender delivery models, commitments, risks, and opportunities.

• Provide technical oversight of grid business operations and HV substation activities.

Requirements

• Electrical/Electronic Engineering degree or diploma.

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in HV substation projects.

• PMP certification is essential.

• Minimum 5 years leading 66 KV city and loop substation projects.

• Gulf region project management experience, preferably in Bahrain.

• Proven ability to lead large multidisciplinary teams.

• Strong knowledge of project management, contract management, and risk processes.

• Experience with EWA retrofitting, switchgear replacement, and ICS modifications.

Skills & Attributes

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

• Ability to influence stakeholders and lead teams effectively.

• Willingness to travel >40% of the time.

• Analytical, organized, and solution-oriented mindset.

• Experience with GE Vernova GSI project management processes is an advantage.

المؤهلات المطلوبة

• درجة أو دبلوم في الهندسة الكهربائية/الإلكترونية.

• خبرة لا تقل عن 10 سنوات في مشاريع محطات الكهرباء عالية الجهد.

• خبرة لا تقل عن 5 سنوات في قيادة مشاريع محطات 66 KV داخل المدن وخطوط التوصيل.

• خبرة في إدارة المشاريع في دول الخليج، ويفضل في البحرين.

• القدرة على قيادة فرق متعددة التخصصات.

• معرفة قوية بإدارة المشاريع، وإدارة العقود، وإجراءات إدارة المخاطر.

• خبرة في مشاريع تجديد EWA، واستبدال المفاتيح، وتعديلات ICS.

المهارات والصفات المطلوبة

• مهارات ممتازة في التواصل، والعلاقات الشخصية، والقيادة.

• القدرة على التأثير وقيادة الفرق بفعالية.

• الاستعداد للسفر أكثر من 40% من الوقت.
