Role Description

This full-time, on-site position in Bahrain involves overseeing the Asphalt & Surfacing Division. The General Manager will be responsible for leading division operations, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and quality objectives. Key duties include managing daily activities, supervising project timelines and budgets, optimizing manpower distribution, and maintaining high levels of quality assurance for materials and finished products. The role also requires coordinating with senior management to support strategic planning, strengthening client relationships, improving production efficiency, and ensuring regulatory and contractual compliance across all division projects.

Qualifications

Extensive experience in asphalt production, road construction, and surfacing operations, with deep knowledge of industry standards and best practices.

Proven leadership capabilities in workforce management, team coordination, and strategic problem-solving.

Strong proficiency in quality control, materials testing, and ensuring compliance with operational and regulatory requirements.

Solid experience in budgeting, cost estimation, and production planning.

Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-management skills for effective interaction with clients and stakeholders.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline is highly preferred.

Previous managerial background in road construction or infrastructure projects is a strong advantage.

Minimum of 20 years of industry experience, including at least 5 years in a similar leadership role.
