Occupational Health & Safety Senior Executive – Bahrain
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Occupational Health & Safety Senior Executive to lead the development, implementation, and management of our occupational health and safety programs. The role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, promotes a strong safety culture, and mitigates workplace risks within all operational areas.
Main Objectives
-
Establish and develop an Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) aligned with company SMS and regulatory standards.

Monitor compliance with occupational health and safety requirements and implement timely improvements.

Develop and maintain occupational health and safety documentation integrated with other safety systems and programs.
Main Duties
-
Design and implement comprehensive occupational health and safety programs to improve safety performance and mitigate risks.
-
Investigate occupational incidents and health issues, identify root causes, and ensure corrective and preventive actions are effectively implemented.
-
Lead safety awareness and training initiatives, including presentations, inductions, onsite briefings, and other programs to enhance workplace safety culture.
-
Conduct and maintain risk assessments and hazard registers, identifying hazards and implementing best practices for risk reduction.

Oversee Emergency Response Planning (ERP), coordinate drills, and ensure preparedness and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Prepare detailed safety reports, maintain records of inspections, trainings, and risk assessments, and provide regular analysis to management.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including airport authorities, to ensure compliance and improve safety standards.

Comply with company and airport health, safety, and security requirements.

Perform other related duties as directed by management.
Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Safety, Occupational Safety, or a related field (preferred).

Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety management systems, regulatory compliance, and risk management.

Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder coordination skills.

Ability to proactively promote and maintain a safe and compliant workplace environment.
