Compounding Pharmacist
Job Purpose
The Compounding Pharmacist is responsible for the accurate preparation and formulation of customized medications in compliance with regulatory and professional standards. This role ensures patient safety, therapeutic efficacy, and full adherence to Bahrain’s NHRA regulations and international compounding guidelines, including USP 795, USP 797, and USP 800. The pharmacist plays a vital role in maintaining compounding quality systems, ensuring precision in API calculations, and supporting overall operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities

Compound sterile and non-sterile preparations according to prescriptions, formulas, and SOPs.

Accurately calculate and measure active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) to ensure proper strength, stability, and compatibility.

Prepare and review batch records, formulation sheets, and quality control documentation.

Maintain strict compliance with NHRA, USP 795, USP 797, and USP 800 standards.

Operate, clean, and maintain compounding equipment safely and efficiently.

Collaborate with pharmacists, technicians, and quality teams to ensure timely and accurate medication delivery.

Participate in internal audits, staff training, and continuous improvement activities.

Provide professional guidance on compounding formulations, dosage calculations, and product stability.
الغرض من الوظيفة
يكون الصيدلي المختص بالتحضير مسؤولًا عن إعداد وصياغة الأدوية المخصصة بدقة وفقًا للمعايير التنظيمية والمهنية المعتمدة. يهدف هذا الدور إلى ضمان سلامة المرضى وفعالية العلاج، مع الالتزام التام بلوائح الهيئة الوطنية لتنظيم المهن والخدمات الصحية في البحرين (NHRA)، وبالمعايير الدولية الخاصة بالتحضير الدوائي مثل USP 795، USP 797، وUSP 800. كما يساهم الصيدلي في الحفاظ على أنظمة الجودة وضمان دقة حساب المكونات الفعالة ودعم التميز التشغيلي العام.
المهام والمسؤوليات الأساسية

تحضير المستحضرات العقيمة وغير العقيمة وفقًا للوصفات الطبية والإجراءات القياسية (SOPs).

حساب وقياس المواد الفعالة بدقة لضمان القوة والثبات والتوافق.

إعداد ومراجعة سجلات الدُفعات ونماذج الصياغة ووثائق مراقبة الجودة.
-
الالتزام الصارم بمعايير NHRA وUSP 795 وUSP 797 وUSP 800.

تشغيل وتنظيف وصيانة معدات التحضير بأمان وكفاءة.
-
التعاون مع الصيادلة والفنيين وفِرق الجودة لضمان تسليم الأدوية في الوقت المحدد وبدقة.

المشاركة في التدقيقات الداخلية وتدريب الموظفين وأنشطة التحسين المستمر.

تقديم الإرشاد المهني حول الصيغ الدوائية وحساب الجرعات واستقرار المستحضرات.

Minimum 2 years of experience in medical or pharmaceutical sales.

Currently living in Bahrain.

Valid Bahraini driving license.

Fluent in English and Arabic.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Self-motivated, organized, and target-oriented.

Pharmacy degree is required.

رخصة قيادة بحرينية سارية المفعول.

مهارات قوية في التواصل وبناء العلاقات.

القدرة على التحفيز الذاتي والتنظيم وتحقيق الأهداف.

حاصل على درجة البكالوريوس في الصيدلة.
