Role Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Supply Chain Specialist to join our Alexandria team. The successful candidate will support the regional supply chain team to ensure timely procurement and delivery of products to our vessels while optimizing costs and minimizing disruptions. This role reports directly to the Regional Supply Chain Manager.
Key Responsibilities

Ensure full compliance with Svitzer’s Purchase to Pay (P2P) process and procurement manual.

Manage purchase orders based on requisitions, maintaining cost efficiency and quality.

Evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to ensure optimal pricing and service.

Monitor and optimize total cost of ownership (TCO) for goods and services.

Qualifications & Experience

Role Description
The Deck Officer plays a key operational role onboard the vessel, supporting the Master in ensuring safe navigation, operations, and compliance with international maritime standards. In the Master’s absence, the Deck Officer assumes command and ensures that all emergency procedures are carried out in accordance with the company’s Emergency Response Manual.
Key Responsibilities

Report directly to the Master and perform assigned operational duties related to all vessel tasks, including salvage assistance.

Assume the Master’s responsibilities in emergencies when required.
-
Monitor maintenance and housekeeping duties on deck, in the engine room, and in accommodation areas, ensuring safety and good seamanship.

Encourage crew members to comply with the company’s Health, Safety, and Management System (HMS).

Propose and implement initiatives to enhance onboard safety standards.

Promote Proactive and Near Miss Reporting and the Stop Work authority among crew.

Actively participate in onboard safety drills and conduct training sessions for crew members.

Ensure full compliance with local, regional, national, and international maritime legislation.

Adhere strictly to the company’s HMS regulations and operational procedures.

Role Overview
Svitzer, a global leader in marine and towage services, is seeking a Port Operations Coordinator to support commercial activities and ensure smooth daily operations across our Brazilian ports. The ideal candidate will be organized, analytical, and able to coordinate effectively between port authorities, agencies, and internal teams to maintain operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities

Support the Area Port Manager and Commercial Manager in commercial efforts and stakeholder management.

Perform daily line-up analysis by maintaining communication with port agencies, authorities, terminals, and local sources.
