Role Overview – Technical Training Manager

We are seeking a dynamic Technical Training Manager to lead and shape our Water Training division. This pivotal role sets the strategy for our training team, ensuring delivery of high-quality, compliant apprenticeship and technical training programmes.

Key Responsibilities

• Set and deliver the training strategy in line with departmental goals.

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of technical trainers.

• Oversee apprenticeship delivery, ensuring compliance with Ofsted, awarding bodies, and funding requirements.

• Drive quality assurance across training materials, programmes, and learner outcomes.

• Build strong client relationships, support new business, and attend progress reviews.

• Manage recruitment, onboarding, budgets, and reporting for the training division.

• 3+ years’ experience in a senior training management role.

• Proven experience managing and developing high-performing teams.

• Strong knowledge of apprenticeship delivery and compliance standards.
