Overview

The Nurse will work under the supervision of the Radiologist, providing total nursing care to assigned patients. This includes planning, administering, and evaluating nursing care, treatments, and medications while maintaining complete and accurate medical records. The role demands sound clinical judgment, guided by the medical center’s philosophy and policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between patients and the medical team.

• Prepare patients for radiology procedures.

• Start intravenous fluids and administer contrast dyes or barium solutions as required.

• Monitor vital signs and detect any changes during procedures.

• Identify unexpected reactions and respond promptly.

• Administer analgesia and sedation as instructed.

• Update medical staff on patients’ conditions.
