Supply Chain Manager

Location: Manama, Bahrain

Job Description :

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for managing procurement and logistics operations, including sourcing raw materials, negotiating with international vendors, handling shipments, and ensuring smooth production flow. The role involves coordination between accounts, production, and logistics departments to maintain efficient supply chain operations and cost control.

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage procurement inquiries for raw materials, machinery, and equipment.

• Negotiate purchase terms, prices, and payment conditions with suppliers.

• Coordinate payments with the accounts department.

• Ensure timely delivery and compliance with purchasing policies.

• Maintain stock levels of materials for all ongoing projects.

• Coordinate with labs and legal departments for product registration.

• Manage freight forwarders and oversee shipments (air, sea, road).

• Handle customs documentation and clearance.

• Supervise Assistant Purchase Manager and ensure GMP compliance.

المسؤوليات الرئيسية:

• إدارة طلبات الشراء لجميع المواد الخام والمعدات.

• ضمان الالتزام بسياسات المشتريات والتسليم في الوقت المحدد.

• الحفاظ على مستويات المخزون المطلوبة لجميع المشاريع.

• التنسيق مع المختبرات والإدارة القانونية لتسجيل المنتجات.

• إدارة وكلاء الشحن والإشراف على الشحنات الجوية والبحرية والبرية.

• التعامل مع وثائق التخليص الجمركي ومتابعة الشحنات حتى وصولها.

• الإشراف على مساعد مدير المشتريات وضمان الالتزام بإجراءات التصنيع الجيد (GMP).
