Primary Job Responsibilities / Accountabilities

Obtain and present appropriate audit evidence, address the relevant audit objectives, and play the in-charge role on audit engagements.

Draw initial conclusions on client queries, being alert to both commercial concerns and technical accuracy, and refer upwards if necessary.

Perform fieldwork on assigned clients, assist with setting budgets and pricing, scheduling audits, selecting staff, assigning workloads, and developing the audit strategy within the KPMG Audit Methodology, using technology tools.

Identify issues for reporting in the management letter and other communications with management, and draft final documents for review by manager and partner.

Budget time allocation to assignments, explain variances from the budget, and ensure timely collection of cash.

Lead and manage the audit team in the field on assignments.

Provide or attend briefings that are clearly understood on all assignments.
-
Ensure audits and projects are completed within agreed timeframes and quality standards.
