NSA BOSS Bahrain: Maintenance Technician, Sr. EVT

Program Summary

Since 2017, KBR has provided multi-site BOS services to NSA Bahrain, including dining facility operations that have produced over 1.3 million meals and maintenance of more than 220 facilities, some of which require 24/7 uninterrupted services due to mission-critical requirements.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and certified Mechanic Technician, Sr. EVT to support our maintenance operations. This role involves diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on a wide range of vehicles and equipment, including forklifts, loaders, trucks, emergency vehicles, and other heavy machinery. The technician reports to the Project Leader and ensures equipment operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with operational standards.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Strong mechanical background and abilities required.

• Manage inventory of special bench stock items for repair and maintenance of fire Emergency Vehicles and Critical Equipment (EVTCC).

• Hold Level 2 Emergency Vehicle Technician (EVT) certification as defined by EVT Certification Commission, Inc. (EVTCC), in areas such as Fire Pump and Plumbing.

• Deliver critical parts to designated sites and submit requisitions for special bench stock replacement.

• Track parts and supply requisitions for fire-assigned vehicles and critical equipment.

• Participate as a member of the Mobile Maintenance Contact Team (MMCT) supporting local site maintenance.

• Assist local maintenance teams with hands-on troubleshooting and repairs of emergency vehicles and critical equipment.

• Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) as required.

• Provide local guidance and training on EVCE maintenance.

Basic/Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in vehicle and heavy equipment maintenance.

• Valid Level 2 EVT certification required in specified area.

• Possess a US passport with at least 12 months validity and 6 blank visa/stamp pages.
