Safety Officer – Hidd, Bahrain

Job Description:
Apex is currently seeking experienced and dedicated Safety Officers to join their team in Hidd, Bahrain. The selected candidates will play a vital role in ensuring a safe working environment and strict compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify risks and hazards.

• Develop and enforce comprehensive safety policies and procedures in line with company and legal standards.

• Lead safety training and awareness programs for all site personnel and management teams.

• Monitor safety performance and report non-compliance or unsafe practices.

• Investigate workplace incidents, determine root causes, and recommend corrective actions.

• Coordinate emergency drills, evacuation plans, and ensure readiness for crisis response.

• Maintain detailed records of safety incidents, inspections, and compliance reports.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or Engineering (Master’s preferred).

• Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA are highly desirable.

• Minimum 3–7 years of experience as a Safety Officer in the construction or industrial sector.

• Strong knowledge of Bahraini safety laws and international standards.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

• Bahraini nationals preferred.

تعلن شركة Apex عن توفر شواغر لوظيفة ضابط سلامة (Safety Officer) للعمل في منطقة الحد، البحرين. سيكون المرشح مسؤولًا عن ضمان بيئة عمل آمنة، والالتزام التام بالأنظمة والمعايير المحلية والدولية الخاصة بالسلامة المهنية.

المهام والمسؤوليات:

• إجراء عمليات تفتيش وتدقيق دوري لمواقع العمل لتحديد المخاطر وضمان الالتزام بإجراءات السلامة.

• إعداد وتطبيق سياسات وإجراءات السلامة الخاصة بالموقع وفقًا للمعايير القانونية والتنظيمية.

• تقديم برامج تدريبية وتوعوية للموظفين حول ممارسات السلامة والاستجابة للطوارئ.

• التحقيق في الحوادث وتحديد الأسباب الجذرية واتخاذ الإجراءات التصحيحية لمنع تكرارها.

• مراقبة الأداء العام للسلامة ورفع التقارير الدورية للإدارة.

• تنظيم تدريبات الطوارئ والإخلاء لضمان جاهزية الفريق.

• إعداد السجلات الخاصة بالحوادث والتفتيشات وتقارير السلامة.

المؤهلات المطلوبة:

• درجة البكالوريوس في الصحة والسلامة المهنية أو العلوم البيئية أو الهندسة (ويُفضل الماجستير).

• شهادات مهنية مثل NEBOSH أو IOSH أو OSHA ميزة إضافية.

• خبرة عملية لا تقل عن 3 إلى 7 سنوات في مجال السلامة ضمن قطاع الإنشاءات أو الصناعة.

• معرفة جيدة بقوانين السلامة البحرينية والمعايير الدولية.

• مهارات تواصل وقيادة ممتازة.

• الأفضلية للمواطنين البحرينيين.
