Service Engineer

Role Overview

The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintaining power generators and light towers. This role requires strong technical expertise, the ability to interpret electrical diagrams, and hands-on experience in field operations across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform onsite testing and commissioning for all types of power generators and light towers.

• Conduct troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and repairs for generators and light towers.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot control panels and automatic transfer switches (ATS).

• Read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams accurately.

• Program and configure generator controllers to ensure optimal performance.

• Install or remove engine components such as pumps, starter motors, actuators, and alternators.

• Execute generator paralleling and synchronization operations.

• Identify and select suitable genset spare parts using manuals and software.

• Prepare detailed service and technical reports for management and clients.

• Manage warranty claims and liaise with suppliers to ensure timely resolution.

• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (BE) or Diploma (DAE) in Electrical Engineering.

• Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in generator systems.

Location

• Based in Bahrain, with willingness to travel across the Middle East, Asia, and Africa as required.

• تنفيذ عمليات المزامنة والتشغيل المتوازي للمولدات.

• تحديد واختيار قطع الغيار المناسبة باستخدام الكتيبات والبرامج الخاصة.

• إعداد تقارير فنية وخدمية مفصلة للإدارة والعملاء.

• إدارة مطالبات الضمان والتنسيق مع الموردين لضمان الحلول السريعة.

• أداء أي مهام أخرى يتم تكليفها من قبل الإدارة.

المؤهلات

• بكالوريوس هندسة كهربائية أو دبلوم في الهندسة الكهربائية.

• معرفة تقنية قوية وخبرة عملية في أنظمة المولدات.
