Overview and Key Responsibilities
The Senior Accountant will oversee the financial operations of the wholesale trading company, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting while maintaining full compliance with all relevant financial regulations.
This role requires strong analytical skills, an in-depth understanding of inventory accounting, and the ability to manage complex financial data efficiently.
Core Responsibilities
1. Financial Reporting & Analysis

Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP or IFRS standards.

Conduct detailed analyses of financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.

Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts to support management decision-making.
2. Inventory & Cost Accounting

Manage and reconcile inventory accounts, including oversight of COGS, inventory valuation methods (FIFO, LIFO, weighted-average), and obsolescence reserves.

Analyze product profitability and gross margins by category and supplier.

Coordinate and oversee physical inventory counts and reconcile results with the general ledger.
. General Ledger & Reconciliations

Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger, ensuring proper classification and recording of transactions.

Perform and review complex monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including cash, bank accounts, intercompany balances, and accruals.

Manage fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and related ledger entries.
4. Compliance & Audit

Ensure compliance with local financial laws and international accounting standards.

Support internal and external audit processes by providing accurate financial data and documentation.

Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.

3. دفتر الأستاذ والتسويات

الإشراف على صيانة دفتر الأستاذ العام وضمان التصنيف الصحيح لجميع المعاملات المالية.

تنفيذ ومراجعة تسويات شهرية معقدة لميزان المراجعة (مثل النقد، الحسابات البنكية، الأرصدة بين الشركات، والمستحقات).

4. الامتثال والتدقيق
