Job Description

We are currently hiring for a Senior System Administrator for our operations in Bahrain with the following qualifications and skillsets.

 Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

 Professional Experience

• 8–10 years of experience in system administration or a related technical field.

• Proven hands-on expertise in managing complex IT systems and infrastructure.

 Technical Skills

• Operating Systems: Advanced knowledge of Windows Servers, Linux, or Unix

• Networking: Familiarity with TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls, and network protocols

• Cloud Services: Hands-on experience with AWS and Microsoft Azure

• Scripting & Programming: Proficient in Python, PowerShell, or Bash

• Virtualization: Experience with VMware, Hyper-V, or similar technologies

Computer Specialist

Roles & Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve user issues related to hardware and software logs.

• Participate in the implementation of departmental projects.

• Analyze user technical requirements related to hardware and software.

• Prepare computers with the latest operating systems, drivers, and configurations.

• Apply procedures to develop and update systems (both hardware and software).

• Test and evaluate new hardware/software features and recommend optimal solutions.

• Work with modern tools and up-to-date technologies, offering suggestions for improvement.

• Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate team or to the Head of User Support.

• Provide technical training to users when needed.

• Monitor trends in issues to proactively prevent recurring problems.

• Keep users informed about IT changes, updates, errors, and new services.

• Perform any additional related tasks as assigned.

• تقديم التدريب اللازم للمستخدمين عند الحاجة.

• تحليل الأعطال لتحديد الاتجاهات المتكررة واقتراح حلول استباقية.

• إبلاغ المستخدمين بأي تحديثات أو تغييرات أو أخطاء تقنية قد تؤثر على بيئة العمل.

• أداء أي مهام أخرى ذات صلة توكل إليه.

Database Administrator

Key Technical Skills

• Strong experience in Oracle Database Installation, Migration, Upgrade, and Administration (10g, 11g, 12c).

• Hands-on experience in implementation and upgrade projects involving Oracle Application Servers and Oracle Database (10g/11g/12c) with Real Application Clusters (RAC).

• Solid understanding of Oracle 10g Application Server and Oracle WebLogic Server Administration.

• Proficient in Oracle Database Performance Tuning (10g/11g/12c).

• Expertise in High Availability Environments using Oracle MAA, RAC, and Data Guard.

• Skilled in Oracle Grid Infrastructure and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) including Grid Control.

• In-depth knowledge of ASM (Automatic Storage Management) and RAW Device shared storage in RAC environments.

• Advanced use of RMAN and other backup/recovery technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop software solutions by analyzing business requirements, consulting stakeholders, and evaluating systems and data workflows.

• Design, develop, and maintain software components using .NET Core, Node.js, PowerAutomate, SharePoint Server 2019, and SPFx (React).

• Build and implement SharePoint- and PowerAutomate-based workflows, as well as Business Intelligence dashboards.

• Create technical documentation including flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, and code comments for clarity and maintainability.

• Develop proof of concept (PoC) tools, simulations, and product demos for training and testing purposes.

• Participate in product design reviews, offering creative and practical input within a collaborative team setting.

 Education & Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, Information Technology, or Business Administration.
