🔹 Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will analyze project specifications, blueprints, and RFQs to prepare detailed cost estimates for aluminum fabrication projects. This role blends technical expertise in aluminum properties and fabrication with financial acumen to deliver competitive, accurate quotes ensuring profitability.

🔹 Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Review client RFQs, engineering drawings, and models (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) to understand scope, materials, tolerances, and finishes.

• Identify fabrication requirements (cutting, bending, welding, machining, surface treatment).

• Calculate material costs based on current market rates and waste factors.

• Estimate labor hours for machining, welding, assembly, and finishing processes.

• Include costs for tooling, outsourcing, logistics, and overhead.

• Collaborate with engineering, production, and purchasing teams to validate manufacturability and sourcing.

• Advise on design-for-manufacture (DFM) improvements.

• Prepare formal proposals with itemized costs, lead times, terms, and assumptions.

• Use ERP/estimating software to generate consistent quotes.

• Flag high-risk elements and propose contingencies.

• Maintain historical data for benchmarking and improve accuracy.

• Track awarded projects vs. estimates to refine future quotes.

• Stay updated on market trends, fabrication technologies, and material science.

🔹 Qualifications Required

• 3+ years estimating experience in metal fabrication, especially aluminum.

• Proficiency reading technical drawings (GD&T, weld symbols, finishes).

• Strong knowledge of aluminum alloys and fabrication methods.

• Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and ERP systems.

• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical mindset.

• متابعة المشاريع المنجزة ومقارنتها بالتقديرات لتحسين التقديرات المستقبلية.

• متابعة آخر الاتجاهات في السوق وتقنيات التصنيع وعلوم المواد.

🔹 المؤهلات المطلوبة

• خبرة 3 سنوات على الأقل في تقدير التكاليف في مجال تصنيع المعادن وخاصة الألمنيوم.

• إجادة قراءة الرسومات الفنية (GD&T، رموز اللحام، التشطيبات).

• معرفة قوية بسبائك الألمنيوم وطرق التصنيع المختلفة.

• خبرة في برامج CAD (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) وأنظمة ERP.

• مهارات متقدمة في Excel وقدرات تحليلية قوية.
