 Role Summary – IT Systems Support Engineer / Technician

This role is ideal for a technically skilled and ambitious IT professional. You will be responsible for the installation, configuration, commissioning, and maintenance of IT systems (including servers, networks, CCTV, and building monitoring systems) that are part of our advanced maritime surveillance infrastructure.

Curiosity and a proactive mindset (asking “Why?”, “How?”, and “What if?”) are key to success in this role.

 Key Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure servers, storage, network hardware/software, and related infrastructure

• Validate installations and provide reporting

• Troubleshoot various connectivity systems

• Monitor system performance, apply patches, replace hardware when needed

• Train and support client IT departments to ensure independent system management

• Maintain accurate documentation for all system updates and changes

 Requirements

Essential: Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT systems/network setup and management (commercial or industrial environments)

Essential: Fluent in English and Arabic (spoken and written)

Essential: In-depth knowledge of IT networks and system setup (especially Windows/Linux servers, TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)

 Virtualization knowledge (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is a plus

 Strong understanding of cybersecurity and data protection

 Problem-solving skills with a curious, analytical mindset

 Team-oriented with excellent communication skills

 المهام الوظيفية الرئيسية

• إعداد وتكوين الخوادم والتخزين ومعدات الشبكات والبرمجيات ذات الصلة

• فحص التثبيتات وتقديم تقارير دقيقة

• استكشاف مشاكل الاتصال وحلها

• مراقبة أداء الأنظمة وتنفيذ التحديثات واستبدال الأجهزة

• دعم وتدريب فرق تقنية المعلومات لدى العملاء لتمكينهم من إدارة الأنظمة بشكل مستقل

• توثيق جميع التغييرات والتحديثات بشكل منهجي

 المتطلبات

أساسي: خبرة لا تقل عن 5 سنوات في إعداد وإدارة أنظمة الشبكات (بيئات تجارية أو صناعية)

أساسي: إتقان اللغتين الإنجليزية والعربية (كتابة وتحدثًا)

أساسي: فهم عميق لأنظمة الخوادم والشبكات، خصوصًا Windows/Linux وTCP/IP وDNS وVPN

 المعرفة بأنظمة التخزين السحابي (AWS / Azure) وبيئات التمثيل الافتراضي (VMware / Hyper-V) تُعتبر ميزة إضافية
