Assistant Warehouse Manager (Bahrain) 

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising and steering daily all warehousing activities and its staff. 
• Supervising, evaluating, and reporting on warehouse productivity and efficiency to both customers and internal stake holders. 
• Tracking and coordinating the secure receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials to and from the warehouse. 
• Instill a HSE culture and behavioral mindset across the site. 
• Checking orders, bills, items received, inventory, and deliveries for its accuracy. 
• Maintaining records, reporting relevant information, and preparing any necessary documentation supporting its customers, DP World Logistics accounting, management, and operational teams. 
• Ensuring high-end maintenance standards and compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations. Support, comply and ensure commitment to all company and authorities Health & Safety regulations, and all other relevant company policies and procedures. 
• Coordinating and maintaining all warehouse equipment, ensuring daily MHE fitness checks to enable full operational capacity and achieve daily capability targets. 
• Professional communication and coordinating with customers, logistics stake holders and relevant other DP World departments.
• Manage Manpower resources effectively and efficiently to support customer delivery requirements by planning and adjusting flexible staffing levels to meet daily operational requirements within the warehouse. 
• Monitor and review operational methods to facilitate both qualitative and quantitative improvements within the operation whilst ensuring continuous high-end customer service and quality standards. 
• Maintain training matrix and ensure warehouse employees are adequately trained and competent within their role to ensure operational flexibility. 
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, and transport companies as and when required in a professional way to ensure a smooth execution of all warehouse-related activities. 
• Ensure all warehousing activities are fully executed and administrated through our WMS system to capture all data and have it available to our customers and internal stakeholders. 
• Hosting customers and internal + external delegations on their visit to the warehouse to display and explain DP World Logistics warehousing capabilities

Experience & Qualification 

• 8+ years of experience in warehousing, logistics, or supply chain operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Proven experience in managing end-to-end warehouse operations, including inbound, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment, and outbound logistics.
• In-depth knowledge of the warehousing and supply chain solutions industry
• Keen and strategic thinker and planner. 
• Understanding of budget management and financial monitoring.

المسؤوليات الرئيسية

• الإشراف والتوجيه اليومي لكافة أنشطة التخزين والعاملين فيها. 
• الإشراف على إنتاجية المستودعات وكفاءتها وتقييمها وإعداد التقارير عنها للعملاء وأصحاب المصلحة الداخليين. 
• تتبع وتنسيق الاستلام الآمن والتخزين والتسليم في الوقت المناسب للسلع والمواد من وإلى المستودع. 
• غرس ثقافة الصحة والسلامة والبيئة والعقلية السلوكية في جميع أنحاء الموقع. 
• التحقق من دقة الطلبات والفواتير والعناصر المستلمة والمخزون والتسليمات. 
• صيانة السجلات، وإعداد التقارير عن المعلومات ذات الصلة، وإعداد أي وثائق ضرورية لدعم عملائها، وفرق المحاسبة والإدارة والتشغيل في شركة DP World Logistics.

• إدارة موارد القوى العاملة بشكل فعال وكفء لدعم متطلبات التسليم للعملاء من خلال التخطيط وتعديل مستويات التوظيف المرنة لتلبية المتطلبات التشغيلية اليومية داخل المستودع. 
• مراقبة ومراجعة الأساليب التشغيلية لتسهيل التحسينات النوعية والكمية داخل العملية مع ضمان استمرارية خدمة العملاء الراقية ومعايير الجودة. 
• الحفاظ على مصفوفة التدريب والتأكد من تدريب موظفي المستودعات بشكل كافٍ وكفاءتهم في دورهم لضمان المرونة التشغيلية. 
• التواصل مع العملاء والموردين وشركات النقل حسب الحاجة بطريقة احترافية لضمان التنفيذ السلس لجميع الأنشطة المتعلقة بالمستودعات. 
• ضمان تنفيذ جميع أنشطة التخزين وإدارتها بالكامل من خلال نظام إدارة المستودعات الخاص بنا لالتقاط جميع البيانات وإتاحتها لعملائنا وأصحاب المصلحة الداخليين. 
• استضافة العملاء والوفود الداخلية والخارجية في زيارتهم للمستودع لعرض وشرح قدرات التخزين لدى DP World Logistics

الخبرة والمؤهلات 

• أكثر من 8 سنوات من الخبرة في عمليات التخزين أو الخدمات اللوجستية أو سلسلة التوريد، مع ما لا يقل عن 3 سنوات في دور قيادي أو إداري.
• خبرة مثبتة في إدارة عمليات المستودعات الشاملة، بما في ذلك الوارد والتخزين ومراقبة المخزون وتنفيذ الطلبات والخدمات اللوجستية الصادرة.
• معرفة متعمقة بصناعة حلول التخزين وسلسلة التوريد
• مفكر ومخطط استراتيجي وذكي.
