The ideal candidate will be a graduate in Instrumentation Engineering or a related field with at least 5 years of experience in instrumentation projects within the oil, gas, and water industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute instrumentation project works in coordination with the Project Manager.

• Prepare material lists, technical documents, QA/QC plans, work methods, and inspection test plans under the supervision of the Project Manager.

• Supervise installation, calibration, and commissioning of instrumentation systems, coordinating with contractors and vendors to ensure timely execution.

• Ensure all works are performed according to specifications, drawings, requirements, and standards.

• Resolve instrumentation-related issues during construction and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze tender documents, scope of work, BOQ, and client requirements to prepare accurate cost estimates.

• Conduct technical evaluation of supplier/subcontractor quotations in line with tender requirements.

• Attend tender meetings, site visits, and provide support in preparing and submitting bids as required.

• Assist quantity surveyors and other estimators in project costing.

• Follow up with suppliers/subcontractors to obtain quotations.

• Prepare bid adjustment schedules with unit rates, if applicable.

• Prepare qualifications, assumptions, and exclusions where applicable.

• Price materials and labor for each BOQ item in comparison sheets, using quotations and pre-determined labor productivity rates.

• Consult with engineers and subcontractors regarding changes or modifications to cost estimates.

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for solar project materials and equipment.

• Prepare and issue RFQs, purchase orders, and contracts according to company policies.
