Job Title: AI Tutor
Location: Remote
Employment Type: Full-time, Temporary (up to 6 months)
Compensation: $35–$65/hour (depending on experience, skills, and location)

About the Role

xAI is seeking a motivated AI Tutor to support the development of cutting-edge AI technologies. You will provide high-quality input and annotations on defined projects, collaborate with technical staff to improve tools, and contribute to generative AI training.

Key Responsibilities

• Use proprietary software to provide labels and input for projects.

• Support delivery of curated, high-quality data.

• Collaborate with technical staff to develop and refine annotation tools.

• Engage in diverse writing assignments to enhance AI models.

• Contribute to new task training and implementation.

Basic Qualifications

• Excellent reading and writing skills in English (informal and professional).

• Strong research skills with the ability to navigate various information resources.

• Outstanding communication, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills.

• Solid reading comprehension and autonomous judgment.

• Passion for technology and innovation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in additional languages such as Korean, Vietnamese, Chinese, German, Russian, Italian, French, Arabic, Indonesian, Turkish, Hindi, Persian, Spanish, or Portuguese.

• Experience in technical writing, journalism, or professional writing.

Work Expectations

• Fully remote role; visa sponsorship not provided.

• US candidates cannot be based in Wyoming or Illinois.

• Work schedule: 9:00 am – 5:30 pm PST for the first two weeks of training, then 9:00 am – 5:30 pm local timezone.

• Computer requirements: Windows 10 or macOS Big Sur 11.0 or later.
